Russia’s State Duma adopts first reading the draft budget for 2027–2029

Russia’s State Duma has approved in first reading the draft federal budget for 2027 and the budget plan covering 2028–2029.

Postxronika.az reports, citing TASS, that in 2027 budget expenditures are expected to total 48.7 trillion rubles (600 billion dollars), while revenues are projected at 43.3 trillion rubles (532.9 billion dollars).

For next year, the budget deficit is forecast to be 5.4 trillion rubles (66.5 billion dollars).
