Man arrested for stealing 10,000 manat worth of gold jewelry from a home

Gold jewelry worth 10,000 manat was stolen from one of the residential houses in the Sabunchu district of the capital. As a result of operational search-and-investigation measures carried out by the police, 40-year-old A. Mammadova, suspected of committing the illegal act, was identified and detained. Investigators found that the suspect managed to sell the valuable jewelry taken from the apartment.

Postxronika.az reports with reference to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) that the relevant law-enforcement agencies are continuing, without interruption, the necessary investigative and inquiry measures in connection with the case.
