6 people detained on suspicion of attempting to start a fire at a school

On October 12, an attempt was made to set fire to one of the secondary schools located in Baku’s Yasamal District.

Postxronika.az reports, citing the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, that police officers detained Muhammad Ismayilov, previously convicted, who is suspected of being behind the incident, along with five more individuals studying in grades 10 and 11 of that school.

A criminal case has been opened under the relevant article of the Criminal Code, and an investigation is underway.
