Meta's Muse app raises investor jitters in AI market
NQ
Meta's artificial intelligence agent Muse lets users delegate tasks such as shopping, booking travel, and filling out various forms.
Postxronika.az reports, citing Reuters, that the app has overtaken ChatGPT among free apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play in the US and Canada. Muse was downloaded 2.8 million times in the two weeks after its release, with average daily downloads growing 55 percent over the first 10 days.
Investors are concerned that Meta's extensive capabilities could turn Muse into a powerful comparison-shopping tool, with consumers finding cheaper alternatives and becoming less loyal to existing brands. While this has put pressure on shares across a number of sectors, shares of Meta and companies tied to AI infrastructure have risen.
