OpenAI claims that a former employee who moved to Apple sent more than 100 files about an unreleased product to his personal account and presented them to company management.
Postxronika.az citing Reuters, reports that in a document filed with the court, OpenAI said it was concerned that confidential information could spread within Apple. Apple, in turn, said there is no evidence supporting the allegations and outlined that procedures are in place to protect confidential information.
The legal proceedings regarding the alleged misappropriation of a trade secret between the parties are ongoing, and a hearing in the case is expected in October 2027.
