In Russia, the supporters of Batal Hacı were designated a terrorist organization

The Supreme Court of Russia recognized the supporters of Batal Hacı Belkhoroyev as a terrorist organization and banned their activities in the country.
Postxronika.az Citing TASS, it reports that, according to the Federal Security Service (FSB) and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the community has been linked since the 1990s to international terrorist organizations and illegal armed groups. Law enforcement authorities accused members of the community of participating in an armed attack in 2004 in Ingushetia that resulted in the deaths of 78 people, as well as in killings carried out in 2019.
