Optimization measures are continuing in the capital to reduce congestion at transport hubs and regulate bus intervals. Starting November 2, regular routes numbered 102, 130, 142 and 159 will be moved away from the stop near the notary office located on Moscow Avenue. The decision will make it possible to manage passenger flows more efficiently and ensure the uninterrupted movement of vehicles.
Postxronika.az reports, citing AYNA, that after the changes, passengers will be able to board the designated buses at the corresponding stops on Muzaffar Hasanov Street and near the Kinostudiya (film studio). For routes heading to the Hocheșən, Sulutəpə, Lökbatan and Masazır directions, the “Shamaxinka” area is also among the alternative options. Experts noted that similar steps had already been successfully implemented earlier on other suburban lines.
Regular updates of traffic routes in the public transport system make an important contribution to reducing congestion on the city’s roads. Reorganizing the stop network not only ensures citizens’ safety but also significantly shortens travel time to people’s homes. Such comprehensive work carried out on the city’s main transport arteries improves the overall quality of the road infrastructure.
