The White House has denied reports that it is preparing to impose a 90-day ban on the country's diesel exports.
Postxronika.az reports, citing Reuters, that a White House official said no such decision is being considered. US Energy Secretary Chris Wright had previously said an export ban would not be effective and could raise prices for gasoline and aviation fuel.
According to Wright, the main discussion currently underway concerns ways to increase diesel supply in the US and ensure an uninterrupted supply of gasoline and aviation fuel.
