Russia preparing to extend diesel fuel export ban

The Russian government plans to extend the ban on diesel fuel exports for producers by another month.

Postxronika.az reports, citing TASS, that the ban is set to remain in force until the end of October.

According to an industry source, the relevant document is currently going through the approval process.

The restriction on diesel fuel exports for producers is in force until the end of September.

The export ban on gasoline and diesel fuel for non-producing companies, meanwhile, remains in effect until January 31, 2027
