The Bank of Russia is taking all necessary measures to protect the security of the country’s banking and payment infrastructure.
Postxronika.az reports, citing TASS, that this was said by Elvira Nabiullina, Chair of the Bank of Russia.
According to her, banks must comply with stringent requirements related to storing data in different locations, building backup systems, and restoring services within a few hours after possible incidents.
Nabiullina noted that the regulator maintains constant contact with banks and is ready to update their existing action plans if necessary.
