Russia's central bank: inflation and digital ruble rollout among key issues

Bank of Russia governor Elvira Nabiullina has said that high inflation has been a major source of concern in the country for many years.

Postxronika.az reports, citing TASS, that Nabiullina said ensuring price stability is one of the regulator's core tasks.

She noted that various technical difficulties have arisen during the rollout of the digital ruble.

According to the central bank governor, banks participating in the project are actively working to resolve the problems that have come up.

Nabiullina also stressed that the central bank does not place special importance on large sums accumulating in digital ruble wallets.
